St. Patrick's Day...?

My awesome Head Teacher is pretty spectacular. We just have too much fun because of her. She is a fake holiday lover and takes them pretty seriously which makes them all the more better. We had St. Patrick’s Day yesterday so I have to send a shout out to my little brother whose birthday is St. Patrick’s Day!!
Shantel and I came up with a riddle clues for a scavenger hunt to the pot of gold! We also cut out a bunch of little green feet…leprechaun footprints to hidden starburst. Our clues were pretty awesome though. We sent them to the convenient store, ice cream shop, ping pong table in the school’s courtyard, dinosaur statue, cafeteria, kindergarten screen door, and lastly the supply room where the gold was hidden. The gold was some chocolate cake type things kind of like ho ho’s in the US but not quite, wrapped in yellow crape paper in a cooking pot.
Once they found the Starburst and were on the trail of the leprechaun we sure had some laughs as we went from one clue to the next. Kim was super excited, so much in fact that Caleb L. was saying that her enthusiasm made him not even want to try to get there first because he knew he didn’t have a chance of reading any of the clues. That did change from one clue to the next. Different people kept taking the lead in running to the next one while others would just walk and talk. It was a lot of fun.
I know you are just dying to hear some of mine and Shantel’s brilliance with our clues so here you go!...

At the end of this journey you may find a treat but first you must look under the pink, fuzzy feet! (The door mat in front of my apartment bedroom)

If I step on you you will be sore…Hear my prehistoric ROAR

We come early and then stay late
To see of what mysterious substances we will partake

At this table Chinese children become pro
So obviously we need to practice some mo!

It’s deadly…It’s clear
And in little Fred’s heart it should strike fear
(Kindergarten screen door…this little guy ran full speed into it about a month ago thinking it was open and fell flat on his back, busted the screen!)

I think Shantel and I had the best laughs out of our riddles but hey, we loved it and they had fun too so that’s all that matters!! :)
